TR-I Gold Overview

Tomb Raider Gold - Unfinished Business

Published by: Eidos Interactive
Developed by: CORE Design
Systems: PS2, PC, Mac
When:
1997

In the Gold edition, four additonal levels are added to the 15 found in the original Tomb Raider 1 game. The 4 levels are divided into two sections: Unfinished Business and The Shadow of the Cat.

Unfinished Business adds a new ending to Lara's travels by returning her back to Atlantis to explore a ruined segment of the ancient city, where she comes across hordes of raptors, alligators, wolves, bears, and the mighty T-Rex. The Shadow of the Cat levels return her to the City of Khamoon to discover the secret of the strange cat statue and embark on an all new adventure.

Requirements: For PC - Windows 95. Also available on CD for both PC and just released now for Mac.

With the downloadable add-on, you can add these four new levels to the PC version of Tomb Raider. Before installing, make sure that you've got the original full version of Tomb Raider installed and you still have the CD-ROM on hand; it needs to be in your CD-ROM drive in order for the new levels to install properly.

  • Explore icy caverns, ancient ruins, a lost tropical paradise, and many other exotic locations.
  • There some new weapons available too, such as the Uzi, magnum, and shotgun.

This demo version includes portions of the second level of Tomb Raider I. Play Tomb Raider Gold on your 3Dfx and ATI Rage accelerators for maximum gaming quality.
